The Kirisun radio station line has been expanded with the TM840, DP9XX and DR700 radio stations with SFR functionality.
In the first radio station models, the SFR function was ‘flashed’ at the factory. The developer subsequently expanded the radio station's capabilities and now offers SFR as an additional option. This function is a software licence and is supplied separately. It is important to understand that SFR can only be ‘flashed’ into the latest line of radio stations that support this option.
Thus, by using SFR, you will have both a radio station and a repeater in one device.
What is the SFR function?
The single frequency repeater function uses two time slots of the same frequency for simultaneous reception and transmission in DMR mode. It receives voice or data on one slot and transmits it to another slot. It can implement the single frequency repeater function using the same frequency for both RX and TX. This function is only supported on special hardware versions of TM840, DP9XX and DR700.
